Since this listserv allows any post referring to any aspect of nature I
think this one qualifies, especially since this video lets us look back from
space and see our beautiful planet.
For those of you who are interested in man's attempts to get into space this
video is not like any Space Shuttle video you have seen before. The camera
was attached to one of the solid rocket boosters, and the video takes you
from liftoff to the splashdown of the rocket engine after it separates from
the Space Shuttle. A great part of the video are the sounds that have been
captured during the launch and splashdown. At times the other booster rocket
can be seen in the distance dropping back toward the ocean.
