Hi Denise,
The form I'm talking about is specific to the beta test for BookCourier
and RFB&D AudioPlus books. Apparently this is standard procedure for
RFB&D when they do beta tests. Once you sign and return the form,
they will send you two titles to test. You are welcome to test other
titles, but all the testers will have these two particular titles --
which provides a good baseline for us. I've attached the non-disclosure
form to the email.

If you haven't signed the non-disclosure form yet, I believe you will need to do so in order to be set up on their web site. However, as far as I know, none of the beta testers have been able to activate their BCs using their own RFB&D member IDs. So far, everyone has used Springer Design's test ID to get through the RFB&D web site. RFB&D is supposed to be back in the office tomorrow. I will try to find out why we're having trouble signing on to their web site. Go ahead and try to log in using your member ID. If that doesn't work, try BCTESTER.

Hello Beta Testers,
We are ready to begin beta testing BookCourier support for RFB&D's AudioPlus books. We've created an email user group similar to the BookCourier user group just for the beta testers. This list will allow you to contact Springer Design with questions and suggestions concerning the beta test. You can also hear what the other testers are doing and what difficulties they are experiencing. If you have any comments or questions, just respond to this email or send an email to bc-rfbd-beta@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
RFB&D Non-Disclosure Form. Before you can participate in the beta test, you must complete the non-disclosure form that you received from RFB&D and either fax or mail it to them. If you need a form, please send a message to the list and I'll send you a copy. Once you return the form, RFB&D will set you up on their web site so that you can obtain a code needed for activating your BookCourier.
Installation CD. You should all receive an installation CD from Springer Design very shortly, if you don't already have it. We mailed the CDs on Monday, so you should have them by today or tomorrow. Again, please contact the list if you don't receive this CD.
Beta Instructions. You can find all the information you need about performing the installation and using the new features on the following web site: http://bookcourier.com/RFBDCode/. Please read through the information carefully before you begin. The installation process is a bit complex.
Reporting Bugs. To report any problems you are having with the new features, just send an email to the list (bc-rfbd-beta@xxxxxxxxxxxxx).
RFB&D Beta Survey. RFB&D would like you to complete a beta test survey after you've had a chance to use the new software. I've attached the survey to this email. It contains information about when and where to send the completed form. I will also send out reminders as time goes by.
