I played for 5 minutes last night. It is a little funky in the walking
piece, and was more like a free walking. I have to agree with Wooties and
Blook, the zombies attack is much much scarier in VR. The game totally
changes in VR.

Taking into account the extra $100 for the vive audiostrap, Oculus
is a great deal. I'd say the controllers are better feeling than the 
Vive,
but you won't be able to upgrade them to the Valve knuckles when they

out.  I have never minded the vive controllers.

There isn't a great solution for wireless oculus. If you want
wireless,  it's vive, baby.

If you go Vive, don't buy directly from HTC. buy from M$
store or Amazon. HTC support *sucks*.

Really, you can't go too wrong with any option out there,
even the slightly crappier Mixed Reality headsets.

check it out for yourself (or anyone else! Fodder, you and your 
wife should
come over sometime.. see what I'm talkin 'bout!!). I love 
demoing it, it's
just as much fun for me as playing it! -almost.

(it's absolutely terrifying iVR).
