I haven’t used it yet, but recently found what looks like an excellent lesson
plan on iCivics.org found here: https://www.icivics.org/node/2512908  These ;
lessons are copyright free for noncommercial use.

The lesson on Misinformation seems like it would fit for your purposes.  Please
let us know what you end up doing Jess.

Good luck,

Subject: [baisl] Online Activism/Fake News Activities for HS

Hi all!

My school is doing a day focused on activism with our 9th graders.

As part of the day, I would like to come up with an activity surrounding fake
news, how to spot it, how to avoid it, etc.

I am also interested in online activism, and hashtag movements.

If anyone has done successful activities/lessons surrounding these topics I
would love it if you could share!

Thank you so much,

Sincerely,

Jess
