Yes, our school website was redesigned to have outward facing pages where
the library gets a generic info page under Academics. To get to the "real"
library site, students enter through the student dashboard, which is only
accessible via login. The library is a link listed under Student Tools,
which is pretty nice. I also asked for a direct url: sfhs.com/library to
help students navigate to the site more easily. The good thing about this
structure is that subscription content is protected. While on-campus,
students do not need any additional login to get into the databases, etc.
The bad is anyone outside of the community has no idea what great resources
and services we offer!
