Our students can access the library databases and library catalogue through
a student/faculty/staff portal (which requires a login), and the main
school website has a library page, although we can't update it directly.
Outside those two options, we have a Wordpress blog (although I've been
terrible about updating it this year): https://malibrary.wordpress.com/.
Recently, however, I converted our libguides page into a website format so
as to have a one stop shop for our students with an easy to remember URL:
guides.ma.org/. It wasn't the easiest fix - editing libguides was one of
the most frustrating website designs I've ever done, and I've designed
websites professionally - but it's working well as a base site.
Thanks!

Has anyone else lost their library landing page to a school website
redesign? We used to have a link from the main school website, but now the
trend, I'm told, is for schools to have an outward-facing website toward
prospective families. How do you effectively connect students to your
library website, if it is separate from your main school website?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking into designing a library website for our K-12 school
library. Would anyone mind emailing me the URL to your library's website?
I'd like to collect ideas.
Thanks!
