Hi Catherine and everyone,
Last year, the library teamed with the Director of Technology and
Innovation at our school and we presented to all freshmen during our
X-Period (announcement/counselor meeting period). We bit off a little bit
more than we could chew with the breadth of our presentation last year.
This year, we'll be meeting again with all freshmen in a few weeks. Our
presentation will cover only three points: Shielding yourself from hoaxes,
Shielding your privacy, and Shielding your digital footprint. It's a team
effort--a presentation both of us put together that involves video and
infographics.

what role, if any, the librarian, plays in teaching a Digital Citizenship
curriculum. I am sure you are teaching Information/Media Literacy but
what about Privacy and Cyberbullying and Digital Footprints.
