We removed our copier last year because of lack of use; it just took up so
much space and we didn't need it. If kids need to copy, they can use our
scanner and printers. Our library is better without it.
Teachers have their own copy facility on campus.

The only downside I would add is that the kids waste a lot of paper
although we have made some progress by putting up silly signs that say
"Waste all the paper!" as well as reminding them not to print multiple
times without deleting old print jobs. Another pro is that our copier is
hooked up to the student network so they can print to it as well as our
library printer.

is what students tend to want. My current one does not have that capability.
