I am writing with a request and a belated thank you. Thank you for the
compensation survey from last year! It helped me negotiate my compensation
and I am very grateful.
Relatedly, I hope we can collect data regarding our budgets to advocate for
greater resourced programs. For those of you who handle your library's
budget, if you could please fill out this spreadsheet

to the best of your ability, I would greatly appreciate it!
If you prefer to leave off your school name or other information, feel
free, although I hope we can embrace and understand the benefits of
transparency for our work. I'm curious how much you spend on books,
programming, databases, etc, (it is fine for amounts to be
approximated) but most curious about the total budget you work with. If
there are any important notes, such as departments you collaborate with for
funds, or significant increases or decreases to your budget in the past few
years, please include those as well.
