Hi everyone,
I'm hoping once again to tap into the collective wisdom of the group. I am
trying to come up with a list of books for our 5th graders in which the
main character undergoes some sort of "transformation." Preferably
realistic fiction/historical fiction, and of course, I'd like to bring in
some DE&I.
There's a lot I already read to them around the themes of identity and
being an immigrant or being "multi-ethnic." I like that thread but also
would like some others too.
