Hi All,

Our English Dept. Head is looking for the following to add to our high
school English curriculum. Any ideas would be so appreciated!

1. Asian American main characters
2. Female protagonist
3. More contemporary than not -- at least something that will be relatable
to students
4. We used to teach The Namesake, but we need a female protagonist, and,
truthfully, we are filling a hole that is left by The Bluest Eye, so we
need something with real levels of complexity, which The Namesake also
doesn't have.

Thank you so much + happy almost summer!

Warmly,

Jess
