I made a mistake, I said chlorine, I meant hydrogen peroxide for water
treatment.

I have been involved in water treatment systems that are sold in Asia, which
primarily using Chlorine. Note that NASA uses the stuff as a liquid rocket
fuel oxidizer. Beware, this is REALLY nasty stuff in the concentration they
use. Remember the space shuttle explosion, that was one of the materials in
the external fuel tank. I use the 3% stuff in combination with baking soda
to brush my teeth for years. This was recommended to me by my dentist (who
was a prosthodontist) to treat gum disease. I have not had any gum problems
or tooth decay ever since either. You should NEVER swallow the 3%, more for
the fact it has been stabilized than the h2o2. If you buy the good stuff
shown on the h2o2 site, you MUST properly dilute it (with distilled water
not tap water) as H2o2 is basically an oxygen bleach. There are all kinds of
uses for h2o2, which has replaced chlorine for all food containers.

35% Hydrogen Peroxide is used world wide in municipal water supplies instead

of chlorine to disinfect and stop the growth of unwanted organisms.

The latest thing around San Francisco (particularly for the long term
infections) is the use of a laser. I understand laser usually clears up
chronic cases in a couple of treatments and no drugs. If you can get it
early, alcohol or peroxide are a heck of a lot cheaper. If you use peroxide,

I would think 6% is the better bet than off the shelf 3% stuff. I believe
here in the US you have to ask the pharmacist to sell you 6%. (I get 6% if I

need it when I am in Asia, so I have no idea about getting it in the US.
