The sunspot group that Chris recorded on the disk had no relationship to the 
prominence that I recorded on the limb, but I don't think you can state that 
the two are unrelated in general.  With increasing sunspot activity, we should 
see a corresponding increase in prominence activity.  I thought that the 
standard model of prominences had them arcing between sunspots.

Since I just wrote "I think" and "I thought" in two sentences above, can 
somebody who knows a thing or two about the sun weigh in?
