All,

I use "Glass Plus". I spray it on the mirror until it flows pretty good over
the surface. Then, take a clean paper towel and very softly pass it over to
remove the excess liquid and then, while waiting for it to dry, look for any
spotting and very softly dab it with the towel.

Works excellent, because it was "designed" for cleaning glass. And you don't
have to bother with any water. Works great for dirty eyepieces as well,
using a swab instead of spraying it on.

It leaves the mirror shiny and spotless.

If you want to clean the secondary without removing it from the spider, lay
a couple of paper towels inside the tube to catch the runoff of the liquid
off the mirror. Another thing about Glass Plus, it evaporates pretty fast.
