Steve, re- naked eye open cluster. In your message with subject "Five People at AASP site so far" you indicated an observation of the open cluster NGC1528 in Pegasus. I checked Vickers's to see what it looked like and they indicated it is "possibly naked-eye." Hence the request. Guess we'll have to wait a night or two to check this out because of the clouds and rain. Not much, a little trickle, but it is rain. Lots of clouds, some dark and the wind is howling at 20 mph or so. Sure glad I bought that scope cover. Right now the site is not wet or muddy, I will keep you advised. I am sitting here watching the Giants vs. Reds in a National League playoff game. AJ, I don't know what open cluster you are asking about being naked eye visible, please advise.
