[AZ-Observing] Re: Time-lapse View of Giant Prominence Today

Looks like the remains of the large prominence which appeared yesterday. Below 
is a link to the image one of my granddaughters (Katie) and I shot yesterday.

Yes I still have the Newton ring issue but the new Zwo monochrome should be 
here this next week.

Monster prominence on the limb of the sun today. This time-lapse sequence 
covers 40 minutes of activity in 21 frames. Using the Earth's diameter of 8000 
miles for a scale, the size of the arch is nearly 50,000 miles, and velocities 
exceed 100,000 miles per hour.
