Jim, yes the installation CD does have some recovery information or a rescue
mode, all of them have this kind of recovery. Unfortunately, even with
switching the boot device to the CD the computer still doesn't boot far
enough to get to the recovery.

Hi,
Question, since I do not use windows. Doesn't the install cd come with a
"rescue" mode, so some OS code is loaded into mem, allowing the user to
do some operations?
