I don't own an SBIG camera that filter wheel will fit anymore but when I had
that problem once it turned out that a filter wasn't screwed in tightly
enough and hit something inside the wheel. I tightened the heck out of it
and all was well...

Subject: [AZ-Observing] SBIG Camera

Does anyone live near the Prescott area, as far north as Chino Valley
and as far east as Camp Verde who owns an SBIG camera? My new 10
position filter wheel that I just installed is not working. SBIG feels
it probably is a filter wheel problem and told me to send it in for a
checkup. This is about a 2 week turn around. I am reluctant to take this
drastic step because it may still be a problem with my pc, or possibly
the person I communicated with didn't think of everything. They
suggested finding someone with an SBIG camera and hooking it up to their
camera. If it still doesn't work, then I will have to send it in.
