I don't own an SBIG camera that filter wheel will fit anymore but when I had that problem once it turned out that a filter wasn't screwed in tightly enough and hit something inside the wheel. I tightened the heck out of it and all was well... My new 10 position filter wheel that I just installed is not working. SBIG feels it probably is a filter wheel problem and told me to send it in for a checkup. This is about a 2 week turn around. I am reluctant to take this drastic step because it may still be a problem with my pc, or possibly the person I communicated with didn't think of everything. They suggested finding someone with an SBIG camera and hooking it up to their camera. If it still doesn't work, then I will have to send it in.
