Hi Andrew; I have no doubt that several folks would be interested in the TV-76 versus some of the other scopes that people have said they would bring. Right now it looks like we will have at least half a dozen or so. I know that we have an Orion 100mm f/6, both an 80mm and 100mm Orion ED scopes, a Traveler and a short tube 90. Personally, I would love for a Stellarvue scope to show up, I did not get a chance to view with one at Riverside. The plan is to try a variety of objects once it gets dark: M 11, North American Nebula, Dumbbell, some doubles...like that. We can put all the refractors that want to play on the object of the moment and let folks who are interested walk around and take a peek through several different scopes. Thanks in advance for participating. I look forward to it; Steve Coe -----Original Message----- From: az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew Cooper Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 9:51 PM To: az-observing@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [AZ-Observing] Re: Refractor gathering at Sentinel Dean Salman has a TV-76 and I have an open invitation to borrow it. I was thinking of heading out Sentinel way for the Gaze, or is it SRF'04? I suppose I could put an eyepiece on it, but the temptation would be to put the CCD on it all night long. I could also bring my 90mm Ceragioli APO.
