Yes, I was in the process of performing the plate-solve in TSXPro in order to
get its exact coordinates and saw the "star" was already in the database I'm
using (UCAC4).

"Just southeast" --- like where exactly?
You'll probably have to mark the suspect on
the image in order to be able to identify it in
higher-res archives images such as the Sloan
digital sky survey data.
