If the article is any indication of what's really going to happen to
Gila Bend, then the halcyon days of Sentinel are soon to be but a fond
memory. Once that happens, I suspect that some of the telescopes on Kitt
Peak will be considering closing down, and possibly moving to a state /
country with darker skies. The light dome from Phoenix is already very
threatening to Kitt Peak, so having another one much closer certainly
isn't good news.
