I don't know where the info came from but www.snopes.com has a reference to
it. Goes something like at 75X through a telescope Mars will appear as
large as the full moon to the naked eye.
The original comment was also posted on a professional auto tech website I
am involved with.
Where ever it came from it is going around the net at a fast rate.
