Hi AJ,

I don't do much astrophotography, so can't really comment on the impact of
LP's in that arena. I do know that they're easy to see through the eyepiece of
a telescope and against a darkened sky. A laissez faire approach--like that
taken with flashlights, music, etc.--seems worth trying. As long as folks
use them responsibly and in a non-intrusive manner, there's no need for an
outright ban. And just as you might do if somebody was playing loud music or
using a bright lantern, guests should feel comfortable walking over to the next

telescope and asking an LP user for some consideration.

Regards,

Bill in Flagstaff
