These photos were taken by local club member Robert Mueller. They were taken
over a two day period, Jan 8th and 9th. The disturbance in the tail may have
been a coronal mass ejection who's solar wind went thru the tail. That's the
first time I have seen anything like this.
Robert's observatory is in the Villages of Oak Creek just south of Sedona.
