To temporarily stop E-mail from this list you can set the Vacation
flag on your account.

    TO GO ON VACATION:
Send a message to az-observing-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject of
"set az-observing vacation". You will remain subscribed to the list
but will not receive any eMail as long as this flag is set. To
come back from vacation, eMail the listar account with a subject of
        "unset az-observing vacation".

I have reason to believe that this is only for 14 days, and if you
want a different length you should use "set az-observing vacation 7".

Those of you with multiple E-mail addresses and wishing some of those
addresses to NOT receive E-mail can use this feature as well. 9999
days is around 27 years...

The above info came from sending a message to
az-observing-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject "help".
