I don't usually use this adapter. I removed the large port adapter and then turned up a new part that fits my crayford focuser and threads directly on the 3.125 threads of the OTA. The center hole in my adapter is 2.3" The draw tube of the focuser can actually go into the OTA if needed. Brad, the link you gave is what I am looking for. Beevo, I also found the same kind of adapter at your Lumicon suggestion. I have dial-up and it is becomming increasingly impossible to browse the internet with it. It should not be this way and the only reason I can see as to why it is is that as speeds increase web pages are loaded with more and more stuff you don't want that just slow things down. Then speeds increase, then because of the faster speed more stuff is added, then speeds are increased again because things are slower - ad finitium. Thus, just suggestions, like what you gave, are helpful to orient me in the right direction.
