atw: SnagIt query

Hi austechies,
A correspondent from Canada has asked me the following:
"I'm using SnagIt (latest version) for my Windows screen caps, and they're
turning out blurry. My monitor is set to 1637x980 pixels (widescreen LCD),
with ClearType enabled. Despite this, the resulting PNG files are not even
remotely as sharp as what I can see on the screen .... Any thoughts on what
I'm doing wrong?"
Can anyone suggest a solution?
