I assume the files are being printed? The blurriness might be a result of enlarging the files to a point where the resolution is just starting to pixelate. PNG files have given me some funny results like that at times. I haven't really understood the reason for it. Perhaps your correspondent could try using jpg files as a comparison and the other thing to check is the resolution you can save things at. From memory with SnagIt you can actually specify a resolution now. if the resolution they are saving at is less than 200 dpi then there will be blurry results with png files.
