Hi Traicee.  It is difficult to maintain an relationship with a placement
company because they never actually have enough jobs on their books to give
you continuity of service.  Geoff Marnell (this list owner) knows the
industry and is very good to work through.  I have just done a contract
through Pegasus who were excellent.  But on the whole, the recruiters are
now not even replying to you if they are not interested.  If they do put you
up for a job that you do not get, they are still likely to fail to contact
you about it - their reason is that they are totally flooded with
applications that they cannot keep up with the niceties.

I don't think we will get much in the way of service until most of the TWs
out there give up and retrain for something else, or until the industry
booms again, and the recruiters have to chase us.
