I am experienced in writing and developing study area specifications suited to 
TAFE competency-based training courses targetted to the various levels of 
expertise specified in the Australian Standards Quality Framework.  I have 
authored courseware content and can extract source material from primary 
technical documentation.  I have experience in teaching as well as writing TAFE 
modules.

Additionally, I have excellent communication and analytical skills.  I am 
available to commence on the 24th January.  My rate for this work is $80.00 per

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented, proactive Instructional Designer 
/ Courseware Developer with proven experience.

The primary purpose of this role will be to design, develop and author 
courseware for several instructor-led modules covering customer service, sales, 
reporting, basic maintenance and human/system interaction, for the roll out of 
a new system from a global product leader.

Tasks will include but will not be limited to:

•        An analysis of competencies for each target audience
•        Development of an instructional design solution/learning solution
•        Structure and chunking of course modules
•        Authoring of courseware content
•        Collation and extraction of source material from primary technical 
documentation
•        Liaison with solution suppliers
•        Liaison with stakeholders

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the 
following essential skills:

•        Instructional design / courseware writing of instructor-led modules
•        Excellent written and oral communication
•        Highly developed analytical skills
•        Capacity to develop competency based learning solutions
•        Capacity to develop scenario-based learning solutions
•        Ability to adapt technical source material into training content 
directed at workplace practice
•        Ability to produce learning collateral for a wide range of 
literacy/numeracy skill levels and for those with English as a second language
•        Excellent  facilitation

A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable.
