>I've dug up the following information about dpi settings for screen shots that I gathered a few years ago. Can anyone confirm it is correct or otherwise? >Dual purpose paper/online: 120 to 150 dpi... >Print (600 dpi printer): 72 to 150 dpi The dpi for printing will depend on the printer. If you have a 600dpi printer and want to make use of its full capability, prepare your work at 600dpi. Any more will be a waste. If you're happy to use a lower resolution in order to reduce file sizes, then for preference and in principle you should choose a submultiple, like 300, 200, etc. to avoid moiré effects. In practice, usually you can't see the moiré effects anyway in these cases because after all, 600dpi is pretty fine, but it's nice to know one is doing it 'right'.
