From what I understand, it's going to depend on which style guide you're
using. I'm American, so take this with a grain of salt, but I don't
think there's any specific Australian style guide. Most of the documents
I've seen here use style guides like Harvard and Chicago, which are both
American style guides.

Of course, I could certainly be wrong.
