Hi austechies,
I'm looking for junior- to mid-level technical writer for a client: a large
international supplier of office automation products (printers, copiers,
facsimiles, scanners, equipment etc.) The role is a permanent one, and is
part of a team of five producing internal documents to support the company's
Asia-Pacific sales team.
This role will suit someone with skills in both marketing writing and
technical writing. As well as preparing product data sheets and
specifications, the writer will be preparing materials that describe and
emphasise the selling points of new products (such as sales manuals and
content for training courses).
Excellent MS Word skills are needed (and who hasn't got that), along with
skills in using MS Excel and MS Visio. Skills using PaintShopPro or an
equivalent product are also important.
The successful applicant will need to have at least 2 years experience
working as a technical writer, have excellent writing skills, and be
comfortable explaining technical concepts in simple English.
