Hi guys, I had already let this thread slide into the realms of <yawn> but after Anne's last little snipe I now feel something needs to be said to her (and others) so I have a final three things to say on this overly-long thread. Stop throwing stones Anne, it just makes you seem sillier each time you get hit by the glass. How long have YOU been around and what is YOUR background? Teacher? Librarian? Four years? Five? You don't have the right to put down others without copping some flack yourself (and don't worry, I have copped my share over the years). Personally, I feel your comments have been self-serving and smug but that's your right, just as it is Rod's right to get his soapbox out. Clearly there are many who will take him to task without any nastiness so there was no need for your last comment. Rod, while you have every right to use someone else's work to make a point, plagiarism is a big no-no so I recommend you give recognition where due to avoid getting caught out by people like Anne. Geoffrey, can you please bullet-point your rebuttals as I have a short attention span. :) And that was my last 0.03¢ on this thread. Cheers guys. Bruce PS And I STILL don't want any bleeding hearts forcing me to pay for the NBN out of my taxes, but I'm sure I'll lose the argument. :( _____ From: austechwriter-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:austechwriter-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Neil Maloney Sent: Monday, 23 August 2010 6:26 PM To: austechwriter@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: atw: Re: National Broadband Network and empathy Ah well, if no-one else is going to answer, Rod Stuart has been a contributing and helpful (i.e. offering advice) member of the list since at least December 2008.
