Familiar with InDesign? No? Now is your chance to find out about it.
InDesign is a page layout and design platform from Adobe, first shipped in
1999. Adobe intention was for InDesign to make a dent in QuarkXPress's user
base.

Since then, InDesign has won MacAddict Best Software Product of the Year and
many more awards. According to Nick Hodge of Adobe Systems,
'InDesign has stolen the lead from Xpress'.

Is it a cross between Illustrator and FrameMaker?

Is it an alternative to QuarkXPress but at half the price?

And what is its relevance to us technical writers?

Nick Hodge will tell us this coming Wednesday night, 27 August 2003.

Time? 6pm.

Where? ... Sydney Mechanics School of Arts, level 1, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney
(on the museum side of Pitt Street between Park and Bathurst).

Cost? ...
$15 for members who book by Monday 25th August.
$20 for others.
