I have a client needing a technical writer for 3 weeks in June (possibly
longer) to write a business case for an IT solution.
You will need to be available for a Monday June 3 start, with a briefing
later this week.
During vendor briefings (starting June 3), you will be required full time,
but outside of the briefing days, your time is flexible for the document
preparation as long as you meet client deadlines.
The role needs someone who can start with a clear vision of how the business
case needs to be constructed, set it up, and complete it to a tight time
frame.
Experience and knowledge required:
. 3-5 years experience in technical writing
. an understanding of the software development lifecycle; and
experience with community based CRM solutions a bonus.
. experience in IT technical writing
. previous business case writing experience (for a government panel
or similar) or large proposal writing experience
Tools required:
. own laptop, running a Windows environment, and MS Word 2007 or
Word 2010.
. APPS FOR OFFICE templates and addins are supplied for you to
complete the work, and these are only Windows based tools. (Not tested in
2013 yet).
