Hi austechies,
 
A client is looking for a full-time technical writer to join their product
development team. This is a large, multi-national company producing fire
protection, detection and safety equipment. 
 
Ideally, you will have:

*       

        a minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience
*       

        further education in a technical discipline and/or technical writing

*       

        previous documentation experience in the fire protection industry
*       

        familiarity with fire regulations
*       

        experience working with geographically dispersed teams
*       

        language excellence
*       

        experience with document translation processes

It would also help if you had experience using:

*       

        Madcap Flare or Robohelp
*       

        Adobe CS4 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) 
*       

        Corel Graphics Suite (Draw and Photopaint) 
*       

        Microsoft Office 
*       

        Adobe FrameMaker

and knew something about:

*       

        HTML programming 
*       

        cascading style sheets

Remuneration will be negotiated inline with level of experience and career.
