Hi Geoff

In which application should I be doing this? I can't find an Office tab
in either Word or Acrobat.=20

Hi Bridget,
  1.. Select the Office tab
  2.. Move to the Word Feature region
  3.. Select Cross-References & TOC Links
I would also:
  1..  Move to the General region
  2..  Select Convert Document Info and Convert Internet Links

Do NOT select Embed Tags in PDF from the Document tag region.

  I've had to re-install my copy of Acrobat and, in doing so, have lost

  convert tables of contents in Word to links in the Bookmarks tab in
