Kathy,

Put all the files in one directory. Make sure that all the links are
relative. Zip the lot and distribute as an .exe package. All the user
has to do is open the top doc.

Subject: [austechwriter] Packaging Multiple Documents

Hello all
I'm looking for a quick method of "electronically packaging and
emailing" a
key word document that contains links to about 15 word documents and
assorted SmartDraw files. E.g.

* Document 1 - The key document - containing topic summaries,
and
hyperlinks to 15 documents
* Doc 1.1 - word document with linked SmartDraw pictures (not
objects)
* Doc 1.2 - word document with linked SmartDraw pictures (not
objects)
*       .....etc ...Doc 1.15

Our Techs simply suggest copying all documents, testing links and
burning to
CD, however I would like to make this arrangement look a bit smarter if
possible. Any suggestions ?

Cheers
Kathy
