Create a form element and place it over the gif. Make it the same colour
as the background. It's a hack sure, but better than cropping a pasting.

V4's Text Touch-up & Select text seem to work on text (surprise,
surprise) but I can't do anything to images. The only other option I can
think of is crop around the unwanted images and save the crops to a new
file and then make a new pdf file. Clunky isn't it? dave
