Hi David

Outch!  That is nasty.  Fixing it is beyond my expertise and tools.  It is
the sort of noise that is outside the realm of click filters and the like.
I had a quick fiddle with the graphic equaliser and, as I expected, that did
nothing useful.  If the sound could be isolated, noise reduction may help.

Others may have ideas.

Andrew

Subject: [audacity4blind] how to fix this audio problem?

Hi guys!

I haven't posted here, but now I'm running into a problem. This audio file
has a very interesting problem, and I'll attach a clip from it for your
reference. This audio problem is common on VHS tapes. Is there a way to fix
it?

Many thanks!

David
