If you want to use Replay AV, list members may be able to help you. As
far as using audacity is concerned, select line in as the source. One way
you can do this is from within Audacity.
Open the preferences in audacity, control p.
I don't know where you will be in the treeview. It remembers where you
were last when you used preferences last. If you are not on devices,
start up arrowing. Devices is the first item in the treeview.
Once there, tab until you get to recording devices. Up and down arrow
until you find the source you want to use. It should say something about
line or line-in. Once there, press enter. The dialog will close, you
will be back in the main Audacity window and you can now try a test
recording.

If you have to change the volume level for the line-in source, I don't
know if that can be done from within Audacity. You can do so using the
Windows volume control dialog but it is a very different interface than in
Windows XP and earlier. If you don't know how to work with it to change
various source levels, let us know.
