Hello Ted,
Thanks for that. I was going to say that Zoom never told me about
this. However, I delete all their communications because they are all
adverts so maybe they did.
I appreciate the heads up. How are you doing?
Very best wishes,
Sandra.

Good morning, Sandra. I received an email from Zoom not long ago stating
that at the end of May, zoom will time out after 40 minutes even with just a
two person connection. This is something new that is going to be rolled out
soon.

Hello,
A quick note about the free version of Zoom. Up to 2 participants can
have unlimited time. More than 2 and it will time out after 40
minutes. If you are only giving 1-to-1 lessons, this will not be a
problem for you.
Very best wishes,
Sandra.

Hi Lis:
Sure, I hope we get several foolks learning and playing.
I am currently exploring what hardware and software to get and
downloading
Zoom today.
Thanks for the offer to set up something and lets explorer that further.
One quick question, do you have a high-speed internet connection?
Mine is God awful slow at the moment.
Thanks for the response and…
P.S. I am reading T. S. Elliot and others to help improve my lyric
writing.
See you on the Flipside:

If you’re going to be doing a lesson, I’d love to jump in also. Lol I

Good Sunday morning to you!
I, along with a few others on this list, have produced a number of audio
tutorials using audacity and other hardware. I have also used zoom in
live
and recorded tutorials of the same. Be aware that if you are not a
subscriber, zoom will time out after 40 minutes. Also, if you are not a
subscriber, then you may be limited to mono rather than stereo sound.
Maybe I can be of assistance and give you some consultation as to how to
set
up and present your music lessons to your students through zoom. I can
be
available for much of this week coming up, if you would like. Email or
call
me.

Hi:
I am going to give free music lessons to some blind players.
I am looking at zoom.
I have audacity and wonder if I can tie it into the zoom meeting to
control things like volume of audio sent out to students or other
features
like playing samples recorded in audacity during a lesson, meeting.
I heard of one person using a hardware audio input which I wil be
getting,
some day, sigh.
If you use zoom with jaws or nvda do you have any suggestions before I
download and try to set it up?
I do have wireless headphones and a stand-alone mike so far and run
Windows11.
Thanks for any ideas:
