I don't use XLR interfaces myself but I know that X2U
is recommended by contributors to the Audacity Forum:

It has a headphones jack so you can monitor without latency.
It only supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 but USB 3.0 is not really
necessary for audio in my opinion.
