Diane, here's what to do. Copy the URL to the clipboard and open your web browser. Open the address bar (ctrl-l) and paste the link, adding the following: ?dl=1 This will result in your browser automatically downloading the file. Incidentally, anyone sending an mp3 file via Dropbox should also ad ?dl=1 to their link to ensure that it will download rather than play on click. And now back to Audacity... The options to save and save as are unavailable according to JAWS 13. The usual right click to save target as also doesn't seem to work. Any other ideas? All help appreciated. Thanks. If it plays in Windows media Player, you can save the file from within Media Player. If the file opens in a different program, let us know what program that is. I won't provide more explanation of how to save a file using Windows Media Player until I know that that is the program the file opens in. When people send drop box links to a file or files, they should zip the file or files before placing them on Drop Box. That way, the files will download and not open.
