In that case, I don't know what accounts for the noise. I'm suspicious that Sound Forge is using some sort of filter in the program to eliminate it. But whether the noise is caused by a problem with the microphone or with the sound card or by some other problem, I don't know. Is the condenser microphone one with its own built in battery? If so, it isn't compatible for use plugged into the microphone jack of a computer. If it doesn't have a battery, then it should be compatible.
