Hi Dang
This is rather an experimental feature and it might not work very well
with all computers.
You can assign new shortcuts in the input gestures dialog (NVDA+NPN).
For instance F3 whereever volume down is the default and F4 for volume up.
The modifiers should stay the same e.g. NVDA+Shift+F4 to contract the
selection at the right boundary.
Available are also F5-F6 and F7-F8 or another pair that is easy to
remember for you.
