[audacity4blind] Headset Microphone Latency

I need a new headset with microphone and pop filter.  But my first question
is which headset connection (USB or 3.5mm headphone jack) is better and has
the least amount of latency.

 

I would also like recommendations for a decent headset with microphone and
pop filter for a singer.
