What generally happens at an AGM is: Approval of Honorary Membership list as put forward by the current committee Election of the new committee Any amendments to the constitution Any decisions that the committee feel is for the entire society rather than just them. Also the president and treasurer must give a report along with any other committee member that it is decided must give one. That's about the jist of it. - Sean McNally JVP Societies and Student Activites ________________________________________ From: au-compsci-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [au-compsci-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] on behalf of Mason, Alicia [a.mason.06@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 April 2009 18:28 To: au-compsci@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: bureaucracy bollocks yeah, we need one pretty soon, i think. i'm not sure exactly what happens at one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alicia Mason a.mason.06@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
