Dear Colleagues,

The European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV) in partnership with the
Czech National Institute of Public Health and with the organizers of the 9th
World Congress on Alternatives to Animal Experiments (WC9) is pleased to
announce the “Practical Training Course on Alternative Methods: Skin and Eye
In Vitro Toxicity” taking place on 28–29 August 2014 as a satellite to the
WC9 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The training course is offered to scientists, especially students and young
scientists, interested in gaining knowledge and practical experience on
advanced alternative methods for toxicology assessment. The practical
training course will present tools and strategies focusing on in vitro
topical toxicity testing for skin and eye irritation and corrosion hazard
identification.

During the two-day intensive training course, participants will get the
opportunity to discuss the use and the regulatory acceptance of in vitro
assays with senior scientists and perform hands-on testing on selected
methods under the supervision of experienced trainers.

We encourage you and members of your organization to enroll and profit from
the advantages of the training course. For more information, please consult:
